TB II Tower Defense X BETA TB II Collab: Raze the Void
Void Realm, Genesis, 72-tier pass, Void God, and four new towers — the full event briefing.
On 26 September 2026, Tower Defense X by JOHN ROBLOX launched its biggest collaboration yet: Tower Battles Part II — Raze the Void. The update drops you into the Void Realm, highlights the Genesis map fantasy, ships a massive free 72-tier battle pass, introduces Casual / Hard / Nightmare / Voidmare event difficulties, confronts players with the Void God, and unlocks four towers — Scout, Aviator, Phaser, and Void Traitor. This page is the wiki’s full English briefing. Pair it with Void God, Battle Pass, and Best Loadouts.
What “Raze the Void” actually includes
Official messaging positioned TB II as the climactic Void Saga collab between Tower Defense X and Tower Battles. Expect:
- A new narrative space (Void Realm) and map presentation (Genesis)
- Eight new boss-style threats across the difficulty ladder (including Void God on Hard+)
- Twenty-plus skins, multiple emotes, and power-ups through the free pass
- Four usable towers with Tower Battles DNA remixed for TDX dual paths
- A Casual mode specifically for relaxed clears and pass grinding
If you only remember three verbs: farm Casual, learn the four towers, graduate to Voidmare with a real spine.
Difficulty ladder
| Mode | Who it is for | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Casual | Everyone / pass grinders | Learn Scout–Void Traitor safely; see Casual Token Farm after the reward nerf |
| Hard | Intermediate→advanced | Void God appears; tighten stealth and economy |
| Nightmare | Expert-ready squads | Demands Farm, EDJ, detection, boss answer |
| Voidmare | Peak event challenge | Treat like classic Nightmare plus Void timings — Voidmare |
Classic Easy→Nightmare playlists still exist outside the collab playlist. Do not confuse Casual success with Voidmare readiness. Refresh path ranks on the Expert Tier List before you queue the top bracket.
The 72-tier battle pass
The pass is free and long — seventy-two tiers of skins, emotes, power-ups, and tower progress. Practical tips:
- Run Casual loops with the Pass Grinder ideas on Best Loadouts.
- Slot the tower you just unlocked so you learn it while earning the next tiers.
- Spend Codes boosts the same day they appear.
- Track gold needs with Gold Farming if classic unlocks are still incomplete.
- Read the dedicated Battle Pass guide for tier milestones and reward planning.
Missing early tiers is recoverable; missing the habit of playing during the event window is not. The Roblox event window for the collab runs across the season — keep clearing while rewards remain live.
New towers
Scout
Early-game pressure plus a stealth-detection aura for towers in range. Excellent Casual opener, a valid Hard flex when your squad needs faster wave breaks, and a way to free Laser Gunner into pure DPS once the aura covers the choke.
Aviator
Dedicated air DPS with mobile coverage patterns. Bring Aviator when air threats outpace your land core, and practice targeting in Casual first (see Casual Token Farm).
Phaser
Single-target laser event DPS for dense / armored Void waves. Pair with EDJ so firerate or discounts keep upgrades on schedule, and with Medic so the laser pad survives focus fire on Nightmare / Voidmare.
Void Traitor
Ability-heavy late battle-pass pick for players chasing Void God clears. The Oct 1 balance pass made Traitor feel like a real late flex when abilities are funded on schedule — learn cooldowns on Hard, then promote into Nightmare / Voidmare compositions.
None of these replace Farm, EDJ, or Laser Gunner stealth coverage as automatic defaults. They occupy flex or secondary DPS slots inside a disciplined spine. Role context: Towers Overview. Path choices: Dual Upgrade Paths.
Recommended progression route
- Skim Getting Started if you are returning from a break.
- Claim codes, then run Casual with Farm + EDJ + Scout/Aviator to start the pass.
- Unlock Phaser and Void Traitor; park them in flex slots.
- Build a Hard-ready squad: Farm, EDJ, Laser Gunner, event DPS, boss answer (bottom Railgunner or Juggernaut).
- Add Medic when tower HP checks intensify.
- Study Void God before Nightmare / Voidmare attempts.
- Compare your final five/six with the Raze Crew loadout on Best Loadouts.
Synergy with classic meta
TB II does not erase the S-tier truths from the Tier List Hub:
- EDJ both paths still multiply the board.
- Bottom Railgunner still deletes spongy bosses when funded.
- Juggernaut / Golden Juggernaut still anchor HP-aware carries.
- Farm still decides whether upgrades arrive before the wipe wave.
- Laser Gunner still patches stealth holes.
- John, Missile Trooper, Commander, Medic, and Warship still fill amp, cleanup, buff, sustain, and sea jobs.
Think of Scout / Aviator / Phaser / Void Traitor as new verbs in the same grammar — not a different language.
Map and encounter focus
Genesis and the broader Void Realm presentation change sightlines, lane mixes, and psychological pacing. Scout each map for land/air/sea requirements before locking Warship out of the squad. Void God on Hard and above is a coordination check: boss targeting, amp windows from John/Commander, and refuse-to-leak discipline through the setup waves. If your Farms die to chip damage, bring Medic before you blame the boss script.
Co-op etiquette during the collab
Call roles in chat: economy, support, stealth, boss gun, event flex. Four players bringing only Phaser variants with zero Farm will feed the Void. Share bottom EDJ discount coverage across expensive carries. If someone already locked sea coverage, bring sustain or amp instead.
Checklist before Voidmare
- 72-tier pass progress tracked / towers unlocked
- Farm + EDJ + stealth DPS owned and understood
- Boss answer path decided (Railgunner bottom vs GJ)
- At least one event tower mastered in Casual/Hard
- Medic plan for tower HP
- Sea plan if Genesis variant requires it
- Controls comfort checked via Controls

Post-launch patches (Sep 27 – Oct 2, 2026)
The collab did not freeze on day one. JOHN ROBLOX shipped a rapid balance and polish window through early October. Use this timeline when older guides feel slightly off:
~Sep 27–28 — Casual and PvP tuning
- Casual reward nerf. Token / reward pacing on Casual was tightened shortly after launch. Steady daily clears still finish the pass; pure Casual-only Tokens/hour is simply less inflated than opening weekend. See Casual Token Farm for current grind framing, and compare Hard / Nightmare rates on the Battle Pass guide.
- PvP enemy nerfs. Malignant and Mystery V pressure in PvP lanes was dialed down so matches stop snowballing from a single unlucky spawn spike. Refresh matchup notes on PvP Mode before you blame your loadout for a pre-nerf memory.
Oct 1 — ZED, Void Traitor, Voidmare (v6.1.0-era)
- ZED and Void Traitor received balance passes — Void Traitor in particular plays more like a late battle-pass carry when its abilities are funded on schedule.
- Voidmare saw tweaks in the same v6.1.0-era window (enemy pacing / clarity adjustments). Re-check Voidmare and the Void God finale rules before you queue peak difficulty with a day-one mental model.
Oct 2 — UX, shop icons, PvP quests
- Spawner UI improvements make reading upcoming pressure less of a HUD fight.
- Skin crash fixes landed for several cosmetics that were hard-locking clients.
- TB2 tower shop icons were cleaned up so Scout / Aviator / Phaser / Void Traitor are easier to spot while spending.
- PvP token quests were buffed — PvP is a more honest Token side-hustle than it was at launch. Details: PvP Mode.
Oct 2+ — Halloween / Calamity OST teaser only
Trailers and OST teases for a Halloween / Calamity direction started circulating around October 2 onward. That is hype and audio only — the Halloween event itself is not live yet. Do not rebuild your entire farm plan around unreleased spawns; keep grinding Raze the Void content until an official go-live post lands on Discord or X.
